Presidential marble cake with homemade mint tea

Dish history

Marble cake is foundations of all czech deserts. It´s tipical Central European recipe.

Ingredients

- 100g of sugar - 1/2 spoonn of vanilla sugar - 3 egg yolks - 125ml of whipping cream - 150g of flour - 1/2 of baking powder - pinch of salt - lemon bark - 50g of your favourite chocolate - 50g of walnuts - 2 spoons of rum - 3 egg whites

Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

 

PROCEDURE:

1) preheat an oven to 160 C

2) cleare butter and sprinkle with flour the form for marble cake

3) beat the egg whites until foamy

4) whisk sugar, yolk and butter in a big bowl

5) next mix in cream, flour, powder to pastry, salt

6) next add lemon rind, grated chocolate and walnut and alcohol

7) add whipping cream and very gingerly mix in a dough

8) give the dough to form and bake in a oven for 45 min

9) try with a help of skewer , if a sponge cake is bake

10) after cooling removed from the form

11) to make mint tea just pour on mint slips hot water

12) before serving, sprinkle with sugar powder

 

RESULT:

Spanish birds with tricolour rice

Dish history

Spanish bird is popular czech food from beef meat. It cames from 16. century when Rudolf II. was czech king. His mother was from Spain and cooks made that speciality for her.

Ingredients

- 4 slices of beef - onion - boiled eggs - bacon - sausage - cucumber - mustard - salt and pepper - new spice - fat

Recipe

We prepared interesting presentation with animations for you about cooking spanish birds: Spanish birds

 

INGREDIENTS:

 

PROCEDURE:

1) pound slices of meat add pepper, salt and spread with mustard

2) to each slice put slice of bacon, piece of cucumber, boiled egg and sausage

3) roll it and tie up with a thread

4) to very hot fat put cut onion, prepared Spanish birds wrap in flour, put them into the fat and onions and roast them

4) add salt pepper and hot water

5) stew it for one hour

6) than take Spanish birds out, take off the thread and strain the sauce

7) pass with rice

Beef broth with liver meatballs

Dish history

This broth was cooked by grandmothers of our grandmothers and its history goes back even farther. It is a typical old czech meal. In the past was taken for almost medicinal broth.

Ingredients

BROTH: -500g beef -root vegetables : parsley , carrots , -celery -onion -garlic -salt -pepper LIVER MEATBALLS: -300g chicken liver -50g butter -1 egg -salt -ground pepper -garlic -marjoram -5 spoons of breadcrumbs

Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

 

PROCEDURE:

Procedure of beef broth:

1) put everything into a pot, pour water and cook slow 2 hours

2) strain it all after cooking, add liver meatballs and cook everything for 15 minutes

3) on the plate garnish with cooked root vegetable

 

Procedure of liver meatballs:

1) grind liver, add the other  ingredients and mix well

2) shape into balls and put them in the prepared broth
